One Physician Interrupted subscriber noted that, in trying to subscribe to the chat, he was asked to share his contacts, and really was't given an option not to. So he declined. This is my first foray into the substack chat feature and so I didn't know about this. And as the publication "author/owner," I don't get to see what happens after you hit the subscribe button. Did anyone else have that forced choice of allowing Substack to access your contacts? It's troubling. These days, I'm leery of any program that lets it have access to anything. Lemme know.
I see that chat, but it looks like you have to start the threads. I could only comment on threads that were previously started.
