Dr. Manion, if you are considering a meeting of doctors or a joint action, I would be interested in helping out. Glad to hear that my dear friend Kay Funk is still out there getting involved. Since we were attacked by the same hospital, I have always thought that our hospital learned from her case, so they here more efficient is making sure that I was put out of business.
Yes indeed. Send me a note via this substack platform (it's advisable not to share such info in public as there are so many scammers) and I'll put you on the invite list. It's clear from the proposed legislation they've got their eyes on all professional licensing boards. And they'll try to seduce them with the same sweet talk.
Excellent article! A lot of hard work put into articulating the implications. Our systems are slowly morphing into communist regimes - creating more bureaucracy to control individual freedoms.
Thanks Danielle, and yes, a significant win for all who got involved and aggressively educated the legislators on the dangers if that bill proceeded to passage. I suspect the legislators aren't too pleased that they got snookered. They were sold a bill of goods that they bought just on the packaging and the presumed good name of the proponents. I suspect they'll be a tad more scrutinizing the next time the MBC / FSPHP dog and pony show trot into town.

By next year, I hope to be retired. I get the hint.

Thanks Anj. And that's why we need to be hypervigilant about legislative maneuvers and seductive play-ups to state medical societies.
This is fantastic news!
