Joseph Brigandi of the First Responder Behavioral Health Institute (FRBHI.com) has invited me to participate in a panel discussion amongst three outspoken physician leaders who have sounded alarms about the nationwide ‘physician health program' that operates in 47 states. PHPs have acquired exclusive contracts with state medical (and other professional healthcare) licensing boards to conduct psychological fitness for duty evaluations on demand of boards and hospitals; make referrals to their own network of evaluators; and perform “case and compliance management” of those referred for allegations of impairment due to a predominantly mental health or substance abuse disability.

I'm very enthused to participate in this panel discussion Saturday with colleagues Wes Boyd MD and Pamela Wible MD.
